Defra secretary Andrew Leadsom is under fire for a lack of detail about the future of farming after the UK leaves the European Union.

During a speech at the Oxford Farming Conference, Mrs Leadsom pledge to consult with farmers “in the near future” about post-Brexit policy and to cut red tape to save farmers time and money.
But farm leaders and opposition MPs responded with concern that farmers have been left with little new information on critical issues facing UK agriculture.
