Scottish landowners have called for a debate about post-Brexit policy and support for farms and rural businesses.
The landowners’ body Scottish Land and Estates (SLE) made the call in a policy paper called A new direction for Scottish land management.
It details what the SLE describes as the “starting point” for work to develop new policy and support structures for the rural sector.
Informed choices were needed to determine what rural Scotland would look like in the years ahead.
