Donald Curry: Brexit is chance for agriculture to shape its destiny

Leaving the EU is an opportunity for the UK to create a set of policies that benefits agriculture and horticulture – as well as consumers, he told the House of Lords.

It was a major concern that the agrifood industry was barely recognised in the government’s hugely important industrial strategy, said the cross-bench peer.
