Agriculture will “fall off the edge of the cliff” without a Brexit deal, Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones has warned.
Farming in Wales would be hit hard if the UK had to rely on World Trade Organisation rules after Brexit, as well as lose EU agriculture subsidies, he said.
Mr Jones said UK Prime Minister Theresa May needed to listen to voices outside the Westminster “bubble” on Brexit.
Brexit carried with it the seed of division within the UK, unless steps were taken to make sure the UK’s unity is still robust, he told Welsh assembly members.
