Brexiteer billionaire James Dyson warns government not to cut farm subsidies

Billionaire Brexit backer James Dyson has warned that farmers will be at a competitive disadvantage if the government cuts agricultural subsidies.

In an interview with The Spectator, Sir James raised concerns about plans to make farmers “earn” subsidies in return for environmental benefits.

Environmental campaign group Greenpeace recently singled out Sir James’ farming business for receiving £1.6m last year in agricultural subsidies.
