The government must act now if livestock farmers are to benefit from new markets post-Brexit, say industry leaders.
Only effective action would open some doors for new markets overseas, with the rules set by other countries, said the UK Livestock Brexit Group.
The group represents 21 livestock bodies from England, Scotland and Wales.
“We need to champion Great British produce and make sure that trade deals enable our producers to maintain high standards,” said secretary Chris Dodds.
