A special fund to prepare farmers for Brexit would in some cases be “income support for super rich”, says Labour MP Paul Flynn.
Mr Flynn, who represents the Welsh constituency of Newport West, sits on the House of Commons environment, food and rural affairs select committee.
But he opposes a recommendation in a committee report which says a special fund should be set up to help farmers adjust to Brexit.
Committee chairman and Conservative MP Neil Parish says the government should help farmers adapt to new trading circumstances.
